Scouts from Troop 200 worked hard doing a good turn for their chartering organization, Derry Presbyterian Church. On Thursday, August 23rd, scouts pitched in and helped to set-up before and clean up after the church’s annual corn roast dinner. Between set-up and clean up, Troop 200 scouts found plenty of time to play hard, too! The evening was filled with canoeing, volleyball, soccer, and fishing. Luckily, the fish were biting and the scouts had great luck catching sunfish and a few nice sized bass in the beautiful pond of Wagner Farm. Delicious food, including corn roasted over hot coals, and family fellowship rounded out a terrific evening for all who were there.
